How to repair Windows Registry have Corrupted File

If your system gives the following Error massage “Your XP/2000 system displays the following error message: Stop error c0000218. Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SOFTWARE” That means that the Software Registry Hive is corrupted. And you want to troubleshoot your computer errors and solve these problems. Below some instructions are provided for Computer Help as to repair your computer.

1. Boot your system with the Windows XP/2000 Install CD, let the system start the Setup. Once in the Setup, choose to run the Recovery Console. Now type the following commands pressing Enter after each line.

md tmp
copy C:\windows\system32\config\software C:\windows\tmp\software.bak
delete C:\windows\system32\config\software
copy C:\windows\repair\software C:\windows\system32\config\software

Try to boot the system.
1.1 Zip the corrupted registry file .bak
2. If you don't have an XP/2000 CD with the Recovery Console on it, you can try removing your hard drive and connecting it your friend's system or installing another Windows system in a different directory. Then you can access the \Windows\System32\Config folder. Copy the files System, Security, Sam, Software and Default to a safe location. Then go to the \Windows\Repair folder. Those five files are your orginal registry files created when XP/2000 was first installed. Copy the file (with the name as the corrupted one) from the \Computer Registry Repair folder and paste it into the \Config folder.

Try to boot your system.
2.1 Zip the corrupted registry file.
3. Upload this file to us. Please wait until the 'The uploaded file has been successfully accepted by Willing Software' note appears.

Upgrading to Windows XP

I am going to discuss about Upgrading to XP is probably the simplest OS upgrade of all.
1. Insert the CD and Choose Install windows XP from the menu that appears.
2. The setup program detects that you already have an OS installed and presents you with a menu that says Upgrade Click Next to begin the upgrade.
3. Setup asks you to agree to the EULA, enter the product key, and download an updated version of the setup program (if necessary)
4. Setup copies several files over, reboots a couple of times, and continue like a standard Windows XP installation.
Once you have finished the installation, you must active it and also you must look at the error which occurs after Windows XP is already installed (like a standard Windows XP installation), but that’s about it. Windows XP setup makes most of the decisions about the upgrade for you so only a minimal amount of interaction is necessary. The first, and still the largest market in dollar terms, is desktop computing. Desktop computing spans from low-end systems that sell for under $1,000 to highend, heavily-configured workstations that may sell for over $10,000. Throughout this range in price and capability, the desktop market tends to be driven to optimize price-performance.

This combination of performance (measured primarily in terms of computer performance and graphics performance) and price of a system is what matters most to customers in this market and hence to computer designers.

As a result desktop systems often are where the newest, highest performance microprocessors appear, as well as where recently cost-reduced microprocessors.

Desktop computing also tends to be reasonably well characterized in terms of

applications and benchmarking, though the increasing use of web-centric, interactive

applications poses new challenges in performance evaluation. As we discuss

in Section 1.9 (Fallacies, Pitfalls), the PC portion of the desktop space seems

recently to have become focused on clock rate as the direct measure of performance,

and this focus can lead to poor decisions by consumers as well as by designers

who respond to this predilection that is why it is better to find out the solution to optimum computer performance.

What is Computer

A computer is a machine that manipulates data according to a list of instructions.

The first devices that resemble modern computers date to the mid-20th century (around 1940 - 1945), although the computer concept and various machines similar to computers existed earlier. Early electronic computers were the size of a large room, consuming as much power as several hundred modern personal computers.[1] Modern computers are based on tiny integrated circuits and are millions to billions of times more capable while occupying a fraction of the space.[2] Today, simple computers may be made small enough to fit into a wristwatch and be powered from a watch battery. Personal computers, in various forms, are icons of the Information Age and are what most people think of as "a computer"; however, the most common form of computer in use today is the embedded computer. Embedded computers are small, simple devices that are used to control other devices — for example, they may be found in machines ranging from fighter aircraft to industrial robots, digital cameras, and children’s toys.

The ability to store and execute lists of instructions called programs makes computers extremely versatile and distinguishes them from calculators. The Church–Turing thesis is a mathematical statement of this versatility: any computer with a certain minimum capability is, in principle, capable of performing the same tasks that any other computer can perform. Therefore, computers with capability and complexity ranging from that of a personal digital assistant to a supercomputer are all able to perform the same computational tasks given enough time and storage capacity.
